Two kilograms of hair, Shahnur the 15-years-old Bangladeshi girl has found in the stomach.Over the last seven-eight years,the girl tearing her hair and she ate it.No one but the family members could not catch the fact that ,even his parents.Last year ,the Girl suddenly felt abdominal pain inside .She could not eat anything .if she ate something she would vomit it.When she was taken to hospital by her parents,Doctors examined her.Doctors found an object inside the stomach but it was not clear exactly what it was .
The operation was success by Dhaka Medical College Professor Dr.Tapan Kumar Saha led a group on doctors and removed a hair ball weighting nearly 2 kg from shahnur's stomach.Doctors said ,Shahnur eat hairs come from a very young age.The hair was trapping in the stomach duo to non digesting.Her hairball was formed in the stomach and it was so big that it went beyond the stomach.all the way up to the duodenum,the first part of the small intestine.
Shahnur's father is tea vendor and her mother works as a housemaid.the girl was being brought up by her grandmother Saleha Begum.Saleha Begum said, i have not seen the hair to eat but sometimes when she was scolded may be she pulled out one or two stands of her hair.
A psychiatrist told that parents should be careful and consult with doctors if their children puled out their own hair.It's a mental state of mind called trichotillomania, meaning she was maniacal in pulling out her hair. he also said,.“She feels pleasure in pulling out her hair,”
